UKDedicated is now B Corp certified
We’re proud to announce that UKDedicated, part of the team.blue Group, is now B Corp certified.
Becoming a Certified B Corporation means joining a global community of organisations committed to using business as a force for good, with social, environmental and governance performance independently assessed against B Lab’s standards.
For UKDedicated, certification isn’t a finish line. It recognises the progress already being made across team.blue while providing a framework that will continue to challenge us to make thoughtful, measurable improvements in the years ahead.
What does B Corp mean?
B Corp Certification looks beyond a company’s financial performance to assess its wider impact. B Lab’s framework considers how businesses affect people and the planet, as well as how they approach governance and accountability.
For customers, employees and other stakeholders, certification provides greater confidence that responsible business practices are embedded into the way a company operates.
“B Corp isn’t a sustainability programme, it’s a business model, one that grows the impact for every stakeholder. Seeing the UK & IE team take this on and deliver it with flair is exactly the kind of ownership I want to see in every business. We are now counting three B Corp certifications across the group, onto the next!”
The progress behind our certification
Our 2024/25 Impact Report brings together the work taking place across team.blue, including UKDedicated. Our approach is organised around three core pillars: sustainable tech, digital inclusion and digital trust.
Here are four highlights that demonstrate what those commitments look like in practice.
1. Lower impact technology
Our primary UK data centre has been powered with 100% renewable electricity since 2021. Across the organisation, 100% of company vehicles are hybrid or electric, while 100% of end-of-life servers were recycled or reused rather than being sent to landfill.
For a business such as UKDedicated, where reliable infrastructure sits at the heart of the services we provide, finding ways to reduce the environmental impact of technology is particularly important.
2. Better measurement and accountability
We’ve strengthened the way carbon data is collected, allowing office and data centre energy use to be measured more precisely.
Scope 1 emissions fell by 86% from 2023. At the same time, our Impact Report transparently records increases in Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, highlighting areas where improved data and further action are still required.
Measuring our impact more accurately helps us understand where progress is being made and, importantly, where there is more work to do.
3. An inclusive place to work
Building a responsible business also means creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.
Across our organisation, 50% of new hires were female, while female representation at leadership level reached 34%. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training achieved 94% completion, alongside practical colleague support through Mental Health First Aiders and wellbeing-focused Lunch & Learns.
4. Customer care and digital trust
Trust, security and dependable support are fundamental to the relationship we have with our customers.
A formal quality-assurance process was introduced in February 2025 to further strengthen customer service, alongside an Advanced Technical team to support more complex enquiries.
We have also continued to strengthen information-security governance, with 100% participation in cyber, AI and data-privacy training and an 87% completion rate at the reporting point.
Why this matters to UKDedicated customers
Choosing a technology partner isn’t only about performance, reliability and technical capability. Increasingly, businesses also want to understand how their suppliers operate and the wider impact of the organisations they work with.
As a UKDedicated customer, you’re choosing a business that is working to embed responsible practices into its operations – from the energy and infrastructure behind our services to the way we support our people, protect customer information and contribute to our communities.
B Corp provides an external framework for those commitments and helps hold us accountable as expectations of responsible businesses continue to evolve.
What happens next?
Achieving B Corp certification is something we’re proud to celebrate, but the real value lies in what comes next.
We’ll continue measuring our impact, being transparent about the areas where we’re making progress and those where more work is needed. We’ll also continue using the B Corp framework to help inform decisions affecting our customers, colleagues, communities and the environment.
Thank you to our customers, colleagues and partners who have helped us reach this milestone. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made – and looking forward to building on it.
