Information on data under the European Union Data Act

How can I access and transfer my data?

This document describes which customer data is processed, made available and can be exported as part of UKDedicated services, in accordance with the European Union Data Act (EU Regulation 2023/2854).

The information and procedures described on this page relate exclusively to access to and transfer of data under the Data Act. They are without prejudice to the rights granted to data subjects under personal data protection legislation, including the rights of access and, where applicable, data portability under Articles 15 and 20 of the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). These rights can be exercised in accordance with the procedures set out in the applicable privacy notices.

Access logs for email services are not included among the data that can be exported using the procedures described on this page. Such data is subject to specific legislation governing the retention and acquisition of electronic communications traffic data and may only be made available to judicial authorities as part of criminal proceedings.

Where a specific export function is not available, data may be exported using methods commonly used within the industry, for example by copying information directly from the user interface or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

For any additional requests, customers should open a ticket through the Customer Portal.

Account data

The following information is available through the Customer Portal:

  • Customer details / billing information: Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • Invoices: Exportable by clicking the relevant invoice and saving it as a PDF.
  • Payment methods (credit card/PayPal): Credit card numbers are only partially displayed. Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Product list

The following information is available through the Customer Portal:

  • Active products and products awaiting activation: Available via Services > My Services. Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • Expiry dates: Available via Services > My Services and Domains > My Domains. Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Domains

For each domain, the following information is available through the Customer Portal > Domains > My Domains:

  • Domain Registrant Details (Owner): Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • DNS zone: Details of the DNS zone can be found within the cPanel of the relevant hosting account. Exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Email Hosting

  • List of active email accounts: Viewable and exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function from the email package control panel, accessible via our Customer Portal.
  • Individual mailbox contents: Viewable via webmail and exportable by configuring an email client using IMAP and synchronising the contents locally.
  • Address book: Viewable in webmail and exportable using the dedicated “Export” function.
  • Mailbox filters and rules: Viewable in webmail and exportable using the dedicated “Export” function.

Shared Hosting

  • Website/database content: Viewable through the relevant hosting package cPanel control panel functions and via FTP connections for files. Data can be exported using the same functions.
  • System logs: Accessible through the relevant cPanel account and exported to download or print using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Reseller Hosting

  • Website/database content: Viewable through the relevant hosting package cPanel control panel functions and via FTP connections for files. Data can be exported using the same functions.
  • List of hosted accounts: Viewable through Web Host Manager and can be printed using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • System logs: Accessible through the relevant cPanel account and exported to download or print using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Managed Dedicated / Cloud Servers

  • Technical details: Viewable through the Customer Portal by accessing the details for each server and exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • Server system logs: LiteSpeed/Apache/Nginx web server access logs and error logs are accessible and exportable directly from the server. System journal, cPanel and database logs are not accessible directly; a support request must be opened from your Customer Portal.
  • Server system settings: These are not managed by the customer and require a support request.

Self-Managed Dedicated / Cloud Servers

  • These servers are unmanaged and as the customer you hold full root/administrator credentials, giving you complete access to the server, its configuration, and all logs and data on it. Your setup dictates how the data can be accessed.
  • If you run into difficulties or would like assistance, our support team is happy to help — just open a support request from your Customer Portal.

Colocation

  • As you retain full root/administrator access to the server, all technical details, configurations, and generated data reside on hardware under your control and can be accessed and exported directly by you at any time. Your setup dictates how the data can be accessed.

Other

  • Support request history: Viewable in the dedicated section of the Customer Portal and exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.
  • CDN: Please contact support via the Customer Portal for details.

SSL Certificates

  • SSL certificates: Managed via the Customer Portal. Configuration details are exportable by copy and paste or using the browser's print-to-PDF function.

Available data includes:

  • Certificate details
  • Assigned domains
  • Certificate validity period
